This time in two weeks I’ll be boarding a plane. 20 hours later, I’ll be in Shanghai. From there we’ll board a cruise ship that will take us to three cities in Japan, Kagoshima, Nagasaki and Fukuoka, then finally to Busan, South Korea and then back to Shanghai. We’ll spend a little over a week in Shanghai and the Shanghai Expo and other places around the area. It’s my first time in any of these countries and I’m very excited/nervous, but mostly just excited lol.

I’m exhausted just thinking about all of it.
These are some of the views from the windows in my hotel room in Shanghai. This city is so bright and beautiful, despite all of the smog/fog. I really love it here, even though I’m having to get by with just a few phrases in my Mandarin vocabulary. I’m kind of sad that I have to wait a week to come back here and explore the city more.
I board my cruise today and I’ll be in Kagoshima in two days.
Back in Shanghai and I’ve now been to Japan and Korea. I just now found a good internet connection again! That’s the Oriental Pearl Tower behind me. And I’m looking gross as always since the weather here is anti-hair.
Hanging out with Mt. Sakurajima, an active volcano Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
